The lacrosse season is an exciting time for athletes and fans alike. Starting in late winter, the season can stretch from February to May or even June, depending on league regulations.

For most leagues, the first step of the season begins with preseason workouts and drills. This allows players to get back into shape after a long offseason while allowing coaches to evaluate talent and decide who will make their team’s starting lineup. After these practices are complete, regular-season games usually begin at the end of February or early March. From there, teams compete until playoff games start in May or June.
